CarPlay Not Working / Fix

If you’re having issues with your vehicles CarPlay, here are some tips to make your phone connect the first time! Every time!


1.  Make sure your USB cable is connected securely to your mobile device. Over time the motion of the vehicle will wear out most USB cables, causing your device to lose the connection to CarPlay but the device remain charging. The cable that came with your device is recommended, and has shown the least resistance to wear over time.


2.  Make sure your device Bluetooth settings are set to OFF.


3.  Make sure your device is updated to the latest IOS update.


4.  In the Settings of your device select CarPlay and confirm your vehicle is the only vehicle listed for the device. (see below)
