Will There Be Any Changes to the 2017 Honda Pilot?
2017 Honda Pilot Changes and Release Date
Those of you who have held off on purchasing the 2016 Honda Pilot in hopes of additional changes and upgrades for the 2017 model may just be in luck. While we don’t expect many changes to the new vehicle, we do expect there to be a couple that shoppers will enjoy. Here is everything you need to know about the 2017 Honda Pilot changes and release date.
Get Ready for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
The 2016 Honda Pilot was launched just before Apple CarPlay and Android Auto made their debut in the 2016 Honda Accord. We anticipate that the 2017 Honda Pilot will add both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the vehicle’s stellar lineup of available technology that also includes the advanced HondaLink infotainment system and an available 540-watt audio system with 10 speakers.
Same Great Power and Performance
As for what is available under the hood of the 2017 Honda Pilot, we expect there to once again be the powerful and efficient 3.5-liter V6 motor with the Variable Cylinder Management system. VCM will automatically disable and enable cylinders when they are not necessary in order to increase the overall efficiency of the vehicle. This allows the Pilot to achieve the fantastic fuel economy numbers that it does.
Options, Options, Options
If there is one thing that the 2016 Honda Pilot had no shortage of, it was great options and accessories. That will continue once again for the 2017 model, which will be available with features such as Honda LaneWatch, a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat, leather trim, a tri-zone automatic climate control system, and a rear entertainment system.
When is the 2017 Honda Pilot Release Date?
Right now, there is no exact timetable for the 2017 Honda Pilot release date, but we expect it to arrive on our lot some time this fall. If you have any questions about the 2017 Honda Pilot changes, feel free to reach out to one of our sales team members.
